David Karoly spells out some of the realities of climate change in his article Climate Change Science Misinformation.

The Terrestrial Carbon Group, an initiative of the Wentworth Group and the Purves Environmental Fund, has just released the paper How to Include Terrestrial Carbon in Developing Nations in the Overall Climate Change Solution.

Bruce Thom spoke at the 13th Annual Conference of Public Works and Environment Parliamentary Committees about Climate change and our coastal and urban resources.

Bruce Thom appeared before the House of Representatives Climate Change, Water, Environment and the Arts Committee inquiry into climate change and environmental impacts on coastal communities. His submission calls for recognition that coastal problems are national in scale, not just state or local.

John Williams and Fiona McKenzie write about the huge challenge for agriculture of increasing food production without damaging the natural resource base in the August 2008 issue of Australasian Science monthly. Their paper, Food versus environment - and the winner is? highlights the opportunities for Australian farmers and agricultural scientists.

Peter Cosier gave the keynote address Water in a Changing Climate to the Conservation Council of SA Water Policy Summit on 12 June 2008, where he raised concerns about the silence in South Australia, the denial, the inactivity, the lack of protest - in effect the acceptance of the destruction of Australia’s greatest river system.

The Wentworth Group submitted their Statement to Senate Water Bill Inquiry on 10 August 2007.

The Wentworth Group’s November 2006 paper on water reform and the state of Australia’s Water - Australia’s Climate is Changing Australia is available here.
